A shared purpose.A practical approach.

Raising Smiles brings together property funding, local knowledge and hands-on delivery to help create homes where people can feel safe, settled and connected.

Our purpose

People should have the opportunity to live in ordinary homes that support their everyday lives. A suitable home needs more than the right number of bedrooms. Its location, layout, accessibility and long-term arrangements all matter.

We want to help close the gap between the homes available and the homes people actually need. That means listening first and building around a clear brief, rather than asking a provider to make an unsuitable property work.

Property sourcing and project delivery

Drew leads local property sourcing, refurbishment coordination and day-to-day partner relationships. He works with council teams, care providers and housing partners to turn a clear brief into a practical property search and delivery plan.

Together, we connect funding with local delivery, so partners can discuss the property and its long-term arrangements with one coordinated team.

What matters to us

People first.

Start with the person, their choices and the support they need.

Clear commitments.

Agree the specification, roles and commercial arrangements before committing to a purchase.

Local connection.

Consider the neighbourhood as carefully as the building.

Long-term relationships.

Stay involved as a landlord partner after handover.

Our ambition

Our ambition is to help put smiles on the faces of 100 people by contributing to homes where they can feel more settled and connected. We are at the beginning of that journey, building relationships and developing our first opportunities.

We will share progress as projects are delivered, using evidence and stories that residents and partners are comfortable making public.

Our role

Raising Smiles is a project through Summerhouse Property Ltd. We focus on the property. Care and support are delivered by the relevant provider, with housing and support responsibilities agreed for each scheme.
